Canadian Construction Worker Memorial donations

The Canadian Office is asking for your help in supporting the Canadian Construction Worker Memorial being commissioned by the Canadian Building and Construction Trades Department and funded through the contributions of construction workers, their local unions, and national offices and through related organizations such as Health and Safety Associations.
We are asking that members who visit their local union donate $5.00 towards this cause, and/or that your union stewards do a jobsite collection.
Although this memorial is not scheduled for completion until April 28, 2011(National Day of Mourning), we hope to start collecting immediately. We will notify you of the collection deadline at a later date.
